Off the Beaten Path/AFRICA

The relevancy and urgency of the issue of violence against women and girls, combined with the power of exhibition's artwork, is attracting strong interest in Africa for Off the Beaten Path: Violence, Women and Art. As a result, Art Works for Change has created an Off the Beaten Path: West Africa adaptation based on the original exhibition, focused on the unique artistic visions, voices, and communities of Senegal, Ghana, and Nigeria.

With our in-country partners Réseau Africain d'Éducation pour la Santé et la Citoyenneté (RAES), UNESCO Breda, Ministry of Families, Population Media Center, PLAN International, and others — AWFC is serving as a catalyst within the community to facilitate programming and cohesion.
