Nature's Toolbox: Biodiversity, Art and Invention
Launch date 2012
Nature's Toolbox is a traveling contemporary art exhibition that links nature's bounty to our everyday activities and challenges. It shows how
biodiversity contributes to the quality of our lives through a mindboggling range of "technologies" that are elegant in their simplicity, remarkable in their ingenuity, and sustainable in their impacts. It helps viewers understand and respect the power and beauty of nature's genius —
the 3.8 billion years of Earth's "research and development" that comprise life's operating instructions and the design of our world.
The Field Museum , Chicago, Illinois, USA
